Very Important

The cartridges must be adjusted as much as possible.When a hole has to be drilled for the housing of the cartridge, the following factors should be noted: The inside of the drilled hole must be uniform, without gratings or different diameters by small that they were.Finishing off with a reamer is recommended.The heat rises. The distribution is greater at the ends and the heat is concentrated in the middle.

Choosing cartridges from stock: comprising 8 to 11 wcm2 Ensure that the drille hole has anoutlet as to make removal easierl.The conexions must never be inside the drilled hole, as there is the risk of crossing and burning.The conexion must be protected to prevent possible spilling of fluids and the entry of plastic, gases, etc The microporation of a sounding is recommended and must have a maximum distance of 15mm from the cartridge and be conected to a temperature regulator There must be a minimun space of 3 diameters between the cartridges.

Formulae
for instalation
HEATING OF SOLID, FLUIDS OR GASES WITHIN A SPECIFIC TIME

This calculation does not take into account the eventual heat loss.
P = Power on installing in Kw
V = Volumen to be heated in l. (or dm3)
p = weight in kg/dm3
Vp = weight on heating in kg
t1 = Initial temperature in ?C
t2 = final temperature in ?C
Cp = specific heat in Kcal/ Kg x ?C
T = Time of heating (in hours)
1.2 = Coefficient of seconds, considering tolerance on tension of the
sector and on the ohm value of the cartridge
CALCULATION OF W/cm2
W/cm2 = charge of the surface w/cm2
P = power of the cartridge heater (w)
S = surface (cm2) = diameter. Length heated ( units in cms)
